Kaupallinen yhteistyö / Kupilka
Toukokuun alussa yksi suurimmista haaveistani pääsi toteutumaan, matka Islantiin.
Kuten minut tuntevat tietävät, olen haaveillut Islannista kuvauskohteena monta vuotta.
Kaksi vuotta sitten olimme jo lähdössäkin, mutta meni suunnitelmat uusiksi maailman mukana, jolloin harmitukseni oli valtava. Joten nyt kun sinne vihdoin päästiin, tuntui kaikki niin epätodelliselta alusta loppuun, vieläkin.
Olimme reissussa 11 päivää ja sehän hurahti tietenkin vauhdilla päivästä toiseen.
Päivät sisälsivät luonnollsesti, valokuvaamista / videokuvaamista, pieniä vaelluksia ja ajamista. Vedettiin aika täysillä, eli oltiin kokoajan liikkeessä. Siksi ehkä lomalle tyypilliset lepo ja rentoutuminen, jäi hieman vähemmälle. 😄
Agendana kuitenkin oli, että nähtäisiin mahdollisimman paljon ja lopulta olimme kiertäneet maan ympäri kahdeksassa päivässä. Viimeisinä päivinä meillä oli hyvin aikaa kiertää vielä Etelää uudelleen.
Pakko itsekin todeta, että unelmakohdehan se on jokaiselle, ketä vähäänkään nauttii luonnosta ja sen kuvaamisesta. Luulen että erityisimmän Islannista tekee sen, että sen luonto on niin eksoottisen moninainen. Tarkoitan, että autossa ei tarvitse kymmentä minuuttia istua samassa maisemassa, vaan tuntuu että kokoajan olisi hypännyt uuteen maailmaan, uuteen planeettaan.
Onnekseni olen saanut jo parisen vuotta tehdä ihanaa yhteistyötä Kupilkan kanssa ja ilokseni voin todeta että yhteistyömme Kupilkan kanssa jatkuu. Kuten olen aikaisemminkin hehkuttanut Kupilkan kauniita, että ekologisia retkeilyastioita, sain tälle matkalle aivan todella hellyyttävän kupin, mihin oli kauniisti kaiverrettu oma nimeni. ♡
Mielestäni kahvihetkestä tulee aina astetta parempi, kun sitä siemailee kupista joka on paitsi esteettisesti kaunis, myös personoitu juuri itselle.
Muisto jota en tule koskaan unohtamaan, kun pysähdyimme nauttimaan kahvista vaelluksen jälkeen äärimmäisen tuulen ja sumun keskellä. Vuorelta katselimme alas loputonta laavakenttää, joka oli yhtäaikaa todella pelottava ja niin kaunis. ♡

Yksi lempiväreistäni on punainen ja minusta se sopii täydellisesti pieneen Kupilka kuppiin, sen pompatessaan silmille, oli se sitten missä tahansa ja etenkin valokuvissa. ☺️
Kupilkan kauniista värivalikoimasta löytyy taatusti jokaiselle se oma lemppari väri. Värivaihtoehtoja kaikille retkeilyastioille ovat; Original, Kelo, Mustikka, Karpalo ja Havu .
Astiat on värjätty elintarvikekäyttöön soveltuvilla väreillä ja koska tuote on läpivärjätty, eli sitä ei ole pinnoitettu millään, niin väri ei kulu pois.
Muutenkin tuotteet ovat erittäin pitkäikäisiä, esimerkiksi yksikään aiemmista Kupilkan astioistani ei ole näyttänyt vielä minkäänlaisia ikääntymisen merkkejä, vaikka retkeilyjen lisäksi ovat myös aktiivisesti kotikäytössä.
Koska ekologiset ominaisuudet ovat ainakin itselleni ensiarvoisen tärkeitä, on hienoa että jokainen tuote on uudelleen kierrätettävästä materiaalista ja elinkaaren lopuksi tuotteen voi kierrättää, polttaa lämpöenergiaksi tai palauttaa valmistajalle uusiokäyttöä varten.
Hyvällä tunnolla ja käsi sydämmellä voin siis suositella näitä kauniita astioita niin retkille, kuin kotikäyttöön vuosien ajaksi.

Paid Collaboration with Kupilka
One of my biggest dreams, a trip to Iceland, had the chance to come true in the beginning of May. As many of you who know me, also know that Iceland has been my dream destination for photography for many years.
We had planned to make this trip already two years ago, but the whole world turned upside down, plans got cancelled and I was immensely disappointed. So, now that the trip finally became possible, it felt so unreal from start to finish, and it still does.
Day after day, these wonderful 11 days passed too quickly. Naturally, every day consisted of photography / shooting videos, a little trekking and some driving. We were on the move all the time, hustling as much as we could.
There was not much time for rest and relaxation, so perhaps this was not a typical holiday. 😄
But our agenda was to see as much as possible and we ended up having toured the whole country in eight days. During the last few days we still had ample time touring Southern Iceland again.
Got to say this myself, that Iceland is the ultimate dream destination for anyone who enjoys the great outdoors and nature photography. In my opinion, what makes Iceland so special is the variety of its exotic nature. I mean that when driving around, you don’t have to be sat in the car for more than 10 min looking at the same scenery, instead it keeps changing and you enter a new world, a whole new planet, one after the other.
I am very lucky to have had the wonderful opportunity to work in cooperation with Kupilka, and I’m very happy that it continues. Since I’ve been praising Kupilka’s eco dishware & camping gear for being both beautiful as well as ecological, for this trip I got the sweetest little cup endearingly engraved with my name. ♡
In my opinion any coffee break always gets elevated when you can sip your coffee from a cup that is not only aesthetically beautiful, but also in your favourite colour and personalised for yourself.
A special memorable moment that I will never forget was when we paused for coffee after trekking through extreme wind and fog. Looking down from the mountain hill at the formidable, endless lava field, the sight was surreal and eerie, yet magical. ♡

One of my favourite colours is red and the perfect little red cup was so easy to distinguish from any background, especially in a photo it catches the eye. ☺️
Everyone will certainly find their favourite colour from Kupilka’s range of beautiful colours. The colour options for all camping dishware are: Original, Kelo, Blueberry, Cranberry and Conifer.
The dishware is dyed with colours that are approved for food contact. There is no coating that would wear off during use, since the product is dyed through.
All the products are very long-lasting, for example, none of my previous Kupilka dishes have yet shown any signs of aging, even though they are also actively used at home in addition to camping.
Since ecological properties are paramount to me, it’s great that every product is made from recyclable material and at the end of its life cycle; the product can be recycled, incinerated for thermal energy or returned to the manufacturer for re-use.
I can honestly – cross my heart – recommend these beautiful utensils for both outings and home use for years to come.
